Hanging around the bars and back alleys had payed off somewhat, at least he had gotten a good enough reputation on himself to get to know where some of the more intense fights took place. A hand placed on where Cyrus has been on, Elijah sat up, supported by his other hand as he glared at the boy. He grimaced at the word choice, at the same time scoffed at the reaction. Him get fucked? Never. The apology did nothing but add a flick of annoyance, dry wood to a flickering flame. Whether the fire would choose to eat up and return blazing as it was, or simply die down from the hastily thrown wood was admittedly Elijah's choice. So instead he shrugged it off, pushing his gaze to a nearby piece of furniture, focusing on letting what irritation there still was go. To think he used to be so good at this, calming himself down to clear his thoughts, as he breathed in and out, rubbing the spot on his stomach. "I didn't." Was the gruff reply, a small glance at Cyrus before pushing himself off the floor. "Now, if you're done attacking me, I'm gonna have a shower and sleep."
