[style=float: left; margin-right: 10px; border: 7px 874A4A solid;] There was always something terrifying, yet oddly soothing while standing hundreds of feet above waters that could easily kill someone. Be it upon impact or the lack of the ability to swim, Anastasia wasn't sure which would be a more terrifying way to die. She knew that she couldn't swim for the life of her, but she couldn't help but wonder just how many people must have thought that simply jumping into the rushing waters below was a better way to go rather than toughing through whatever problems they had ahead.
A frown spread across her features as she opted to staring over the edge of the bridge, tuning out the usual buzz of the overpopulated city. She couldn't exactly pinpoint it, but Annie was scared to death of water - big bodies of it, such as the river that sped quickly underfoot, managed to give her the anxious jitters that were usually reserved to her more paranoid of days. Today, thankfully, wasn't one of them, and the only jitters that Annie could place today were the ones of her lingering thoughts of what it would be like to take a quick swim. Naturally, the fire-fighting morph had never actually learned how to swim, her life was spent mostly slaving away with whatever jobs that the government could think up paired with the more recent sprouting up of those damned fighting cages. After winning a couple of matches, Anastasia 'won' her freedom, and it didn't take her too long to figure out that she was back on the 'to-catch' list.
The Government was her enemy, and anyone aligned with them was to be treated as such.
An irritated huff left her frame as she lazily tossed a penny into the stream, stepping away from the railing and stalking away.

This girl had won. She had fought a few matches in the fighting cages, and Nyra was well aware that she had been set free. Or rather, she had been sent on a vacation. The vacation was over, and the Blaziken morph was trailing along the edge of the bridge. It was Nyra's chance to strike, nab the traitor and put her back in to government custody, where she belonged.
She pulls her lips tightly into a straight line whilst lowering her eyebrows at the enemy. Her heels clacked on the ground as she slipped out of her place in the shadow of the bridge, and summoned up a BLOCKade, to prevent people from leaving or coming on to the bridge on this side. She begun her stalk, walking regally across the famous bridge. Anastasia Lemark would be caught. Sure, it wasn't Nyra's job, but that wasn't to say she couldn't do it. Those workers were lazy and incapable anyway.
Afraid of water, a note that she remembered from meeting this woman last time. It was a natural thing, with Anastasia being a fire type, but Nyra wasn't afraid of water in the slightest; she could swim and was actually quite good at it. Water is just the liquid form of ice, it wasn't a difficult thing for her to conquer. Fire, on the other hand... Well, She'd never been good with fire. The lady walked with a chill surrounding her, rather than a warm aura. She didn't need heat to survive, in fact, extreme temperatures could mean fatal situations for the froslass morph.
Anastasia was reckless, staring too intently at the water to notice the woman. Eyes of steel attempted to intimidate the other woman, while Nyra's arms weaved across her chest and crossed. And she waited. Getting her from behind would be too easy. Unfair. No competition. [style=float: left; margin-right: 10px; border: 7px 874A4A solid;] at first, she hadn't noticed the other. the water managed to keep her attention rather well, but once that happened she managed to be completely numb to the world around her. though, the moment she pulled herself away, there was a knotted feeling in her stomach that told her the she was no longer alone - the eerie feeling that clutched her stomach confirmed it. there seemed to be no one on the bridge except for her and the clacking of heels.
Anastasia forced herself to stay focused on the river below at this point, bracing herself by BULKing UP, prepared for any oncoming attacks. when nothing had hit her, a frown crossed her face. the clacking of heels disappeared as well, and Anastasia wrote it off as paranoia. though, just to be sure, she cast a rather bored glance in the direction of where she was certain that the clacking had come from. sure enough, there stood the one government morph that didn't seem to know what the phrase "go the hell away" meant.
" fancy seeing you here, Nyra. " she hissed, taking a few cautionary steps back. with the help of an AGILITY, she managed to put much more distance between the two of them, hoping to get to the other side of the bridge and disappear within the crowd of people on that side, but an invisible force stopped her. it was like she ran into a wall, releasing an angry slur of curse words when she realized that there was no way she was going to be getting out as easily as she hoped.
